I will be teaching a 2-hour module on gender and identity, offering clinicians an accessible and expansive understanding of what gender is (and is not), the white supremacist roots of the gender binary, and how to identify and work with constructs related to gender roles and expectations. Attendees also will receive practical tools for confidently and respectfully working with clients of all gender identities (or lack thereof).

We also will cover the importance and power of language, words to use and words to retire, and how to address and communicate with clients in an affirming way.

I will be teaching a 2-hour module on consent and boundaries, offering clinicians an accessible and expansive understanding of affirmative consent and how to set and maintain boundaries within professional settings.
