SEXUALITY BUSINESS COACHING
& PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
There are so many ways to become a sex educator or build a sexuality-related business! I launched my first business, Hodder Media Inc., by accident in 2009 and since then, I have launched three more — Everyone Deserves Sex Ed, S3X Plus Productions, and Shoebox Press. Through trial and error, experimentation, failure, curiosity, confusion, and collaboration, I have gained invaluable experience and knowledge in marketing, public relations, content creation, digital and print book production, event production, adult retail, and business development.
I LOVE helping fellow sexuality professionals figure their sh*t out and turn their ideas and passions into something tangible that they can promote, sell, and feel proud of. What can I do for you?

WHAT EXACTLY IS BUSINESS COACHING?
Business coaching helps entrepreneurs navigate the complicated process of conceptualizing, building, expanding, and promoting their businesses with candid, compassionate, and experienced guidance. It’s difficult enough trying to turn ideas into reality, but when those ideas involve sexuality and pleasure, unique and unexpected challenges show up along the way.
The business world (including banking, email marketing, social media, cloud storage, and more) is hostile to sexuality professionals and there is no well-worn path for us to follow to avoid setbacks and roadblocks. Business coaches like me have been through the ringer and made — and learned from — the mistakes that you are hoping to avoid, plus ones you might not even realize you’re making.
You wouldn’t expect yourself to become fluent in Mandarin, learn to play piano, build a catio, or create a business plan without some kind of help or instruction, right? (Hope not.) Business coaches exist to offer the hands-on, knowledgeable instruction, feedback, and professional community you need to reach your goals and feel inspired to keep going.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE.
I’VE GOT YOU.
BUSINESS COACHING IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF YOU ARE:
A new or budding sex educator, coach, or therapist and unsure where to start with your business.
Looking to build and/or maintain a business that is aligned with your personal and professional values.
Needing help figuring out what those personal and professional values are.
Someone who rolls their eyes at the concept of a “girlboss.”
Needing help navigating how to participate in capitalism without harming others.
Making a business plan but not totally sure what a business plan is…
A recent graduate or student hoping to get a head start.
Eager to learn business and money-making practices that don’t exploit others’ time and labor.
An established sexuality professional trying to figure out your next big move.
Trying to get over your judgment of social media and make content that authentically promotes your work.
A “highly sensitive person” eager to navigate entrepreneurship in the softest ways possible.
Feeling alone in this and needing mentorship, guidance, and a kind ear.
